Rod & Reel Pier

The city of Fort Myers has been repairing the pier since Hurricane Ian struck the area in September 2018. A hurricane storm surge flooded the area with sand and debris. Some areas had significant erosion of the sand. Various areas were damaged, including the city’s water system, which was unable to deliver potable water.
